Mt Eden Legal was formed in 2022 by Mahesh Lala BA. LLB.
Born and bred in Auckland, Mahesh was educated at Auckland Grammar School before completing a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in French) and Bachelor of Law degree at the University of Auckland. He then worked in an established city law firm where he acted for many private and commercial clients gaining invaluable legal experience at a high level. In 2011, he formed Gandhi Lala Lawyers, based in Royal Oak, where he was Director and practiced for eleven years.
His principle areas of practice include property law, trusts and business law. Mahesh has a particular interest in estate planning advice and has built his practice largely on his reputation for providing accurate and efficient service to his clients and carrying out legal work on a timely basis.

Mahesh lives locally with his sons, Milan and Dhruv, and daughter Sajel. Time out of the office is largely spent trying to keep up with his kids and following Manchester United. He’s also known for his culinary flair and prowess on the BBQ and enjoys entertaining friends and family in their home.
